Gift cards and their subsequent “breakage” increased revenue for this restaurant franchise and awareness for the holiday gift card promotion was key to the year’s success.

Solution

Created a compelling social media campaign that surprised unsuspecting guests with a cameo appearance by an NFL player celebrity and $1,000 in gift cards with an in-store purchase of a $25 gift card. Surprise and delight moments were captured across multiple locations on video and posted to social media in real time.
